"What We Carry" is an evening of dance that lays bare the weight and wonder of being human. Through three distinct yet interconnected works, this program explores the emotional, spiritual, and moral forces we hold in our bodies—grief and hope, shame and desire, love and memory—and asks what must be carried, what can be released, and what ultimately transforms us. In Tight to the Skin, the pulse of community becomes a lifeline. Dancers move as one, unraveling the beauty and burden of human connection—fierce, tender, and unyielding. ReBorn turns the focus inward, tracing a solo journey of reckoning and renewal, where every gesture is a step toward liberation. And in Seven Deadly Sins, the shadows take center stage, inviting us to confront the vices and vulnerabilities we’ve been taught to hide—revealing that truth, not judgment, is where redemption begins. Together, these works form a raw, honest portrait of resilience. What We Carry honors the complex truths we move with—and the possibility of healing through movement itself.At InPulse Dance Co., movement is more than performance—it’s personal.
