Please join us for the PDA West Coast Chapter's 2026 Innovation for Patients Gala located at the California Academy of Sciences, a renowned research institute and natural history museum located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The event brings together the brightest minds in the pharmaceutical industry for an evening of bold ideas, honest conversation, and shared purpose.

Stacey Ma, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing | Gilead Sciences
Stacey Ma, PhD, serves as Executive Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing, with responsibility for all the company’s investigational compounds and marketed products.
Stacey joined Gilead in 2022 after more than two decades in the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to Gilead, she served as Executive Vice President of Technical Operations at Sana Biotechnology and as Global Head of Innovation, Manufacturing Science and Technology at Genentech/Roche.
Stacey has a PhD and master's degree in chemical engineering from Yale University, and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and currently serves on the board of directors of Elanco Animal Health, an American pharmaceutical company focused on treating and preventing disease in pets and livestock in more than 90 countries.
Dom Hebrault, Ph.D.
Principal Scientific Advisor, Microgravity Drug Development | SpaceMD, a Redwire Company
Dom Hebrault, Ph.D. is a pharmaceutical process development expert with over 25 years of experience advancing small molecule drugs from laboratory to commercial scale. He serves as Scientific Advisor to SpaceMD, a Redwire Company, where he contributes to the PIL-BOX microgravity crystallization program aboard the International Space Station. His work spans solid-form science, real-time in-process analytics, and space-enabled drug manufacturing, building on prior experience as the Life Science Development Lead at Varda Space Industries. Dom is a named author on peer-reviewed publications in pharmaceutical sciences and a co-author on scientific presentations at AIAA ASCEND and ASGSR. He is based in Massachusetts.
Tina Self, MBA, MS
Senior Vice President of Global Biologics Manufacturing and Site Head | Bayer Berkeley
Tina Self is Senior Vice President of Global Biologics Manufacturing and Site Head for Bayer’s Berkeley, California, site. She proudly leads a talented team dedicated to producing recombinant VIII products to support the hemophilia community, as well as advancing the next generation of life-changing therapies. Tina previously held senior Quality leadership roles at Sanofi Genzyme and EMD Serono. She brings more than 25 years of experience across diverse product platforms—including small molecules, autologous and allogeneic cell therapies, enzyme replacement therapies, monoclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins—in both clinical and commercial environments. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southwestern State University, a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
Tickets are not reimbursable, however you can transfer your ticket by 30OCT26 to whomever would like to attend on your behalf.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable. Seating is confirmed and reserved in advance. All sales are final and no refunds will be provided, including but not limited to non-attendance at the event. If a registrant cannot attend, substitutions are welcome no later than 14 days before the event (300CT26). The Chapter reserves the right to cancel an event if the minimum number of attendees is not met by the Monday prior to the event. The Chapter reserves the right to not answer emails or phone calls on the day of the event.
