A night of sea shanties and slavic folk fusion with The Salty Sirens and Innessa (trio).

The Salty Sirens are Elyse Fishpatrick (vocals and whale facts) and Kristy Capstanfield (vocals and accordion), your local sapphic sea shanty duo - but this month Capstanfield has been kidnapped by French-Balkan pirates, leaving Fishpatrick to fend for herself! Mustering a hearty shanty crew behind her, Fishpatrick will bring you tales of shipwork, daring adventure, defiance and debauchery on the high seas. Hoist the anchor and limber up those sealegs - these really aren't your grandpa's sea shanties!
The Salty Sirens are proud to present their musical matey Innessa (trio). Establishing herself in the Australian folk festival scene, Sunshine Coast songstress, Innessa, has found her niche infusing alternative folk with Eastern-European influences.
Publishing her first poem in her native Russia at 12 years old, Innessa's whimsical way with words has more recently earned her a finalist spot in the 2024 Queensland Music Awards, seen her release four studio albums, and perform at some of Australia's biggest folk festivals including Woodford.
Innessa is excited to share her enigmatic new sound and bring people from all walks of life and backgrounds together.
