Surrendering. (In)to the primordial chaos. Rhythm. Arythmicity. Restructuring that which is unfolding. Remembrance. I am. “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” — Anaïs Nin
What is innerdance?
Innerdance is both a science of the nervous system and a practice of surrender, a journey of listening within and without. Research with EEG shows that process of Innerdance session shifts brainwave activity from alert beta states into alpha, theta, and delta frequencies. These are the same states involved in memory integration and consolidation, emotional processing, and deep rest. At its core, it is a sound journey that guides the brain through the same wave patterns we enter in sleep — yet you remain awake and aware, witnessing what normally occurs unconsciously. This shift can unlock buried memories, suppressed feelings, and unconscious perceptions in ways that feel… safe and natural. The process is based on allowing everything that lives within us to just be. It is a journey into the primordial chaos, the field of possibilities, the mind and heart of a child, and through it — into self-realization that leads to freedom.
How a session unfolds
You enter by lying down, closing your eyes, and allowing intuitive soundscape, words and touch to carry you inward through shifting currents of rhythm and stillness. You are not asked to move in any particular way; movement, stillness, or imagery may arise spontaneously. What happens is something that unfolds naturally, intuitively, as it does in nature.
Benefits and effects
• Release: old emotional or physical tensions may unravel, often without effort.
• Regulation: the nervous system resets, bringing deep rest and renewal.
• Restructuring: ways of perceiving yourself and your story can change, as if reordered from within.
• Remembrance: insights often arise like felt understandings rather than abstract thoughts — a sense of being more whole, less fragmented arises. • Restoration: Deep rest is common, yet often followed by heightened energy, clarity, or creativity once the session ends.
An invitation
You do not need to know how it works, or prepare yourself to “do” anything. All that is asked is presence, humbleness, and surrendering to the experience. The rest unfolds on its own. As it always does. Quiet the mind. Open the heart.
