Inner Roots - What We’re All About…

Detailed Daily Rundown:

Imagine a morning where you stroll up to a sound bath upon arrival. The frequencies call you inward, harmonizing with your highest self, with friends and mentors. You can settle yourself and your child, or leave them cradled in the moment with the group. Once everyone is present, “Drumroll please!”... the great reveal of the plant of the day! The session will begin with each child exploring through the senses, touching , smelling, being, listening. Innate inner knowing and intuition first. Pontification. We will write down or draw potential uses and gifts of the specimen. “How does its color make me feel?” “What does it remind me of?” ““What do I sense it has to offer us?” Then, an open discussion about it, leading us to its current known uses. Every herb will be experienced via a sip (typically an infusion, AKA tea), a salve (or some other healing concoction) and a snack (yummy)- incorporating the herb of the day in some wonderful way. The day unfolds. Free play. Movement. Lunch. Being called back to circle with a song. Group meditation. Creative craft project making. Rainsticks, sage bundles, talking sticks, balms. Every time we gather we will practice connecting with and regulating our own bodies, we will connect with others, we will connect with our earth, we will do it in presence and joy.
