Join The Breath Nurse and other members of the community for a small, initimate (limited attendance) evening at Inner Peace Wellness Co. where you'll reconnect with yourself and cultivate inner peace through your breath 🌬️✌️

Through this guided breathwork circle, you'll reduce stress and enhance your overall well-being using your breath.
Breathwork is an easy-to-learn, simple yet highly effective tool you can use to change how you feel and show up in the world: a way to access the full potential of your respiratory (breathing) system and yourself to tranform your life and energy.
As human beings, we hold onto tension, stress, and past experiences within our bodies that effect our wellness. The saying "breath is medicine" reflects the concept that consciously breathing with intention (noticing your breath and purposely changing how you're breathing for a period of time- aka breathwork) can have profound, positive effects on your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

You're invited, whether you're new to breathwork or experienced.
What to expect:
- A short introduction of The Breath Nurse and brief community discussion of the theme of inner peace and how it relates to breathwork
- Learn how to do the breathwork breathing pattern and what to expect during breathwork, including potential “side effects”.
- Be guided through breathwork with music while laying down
- Q&A and voluntary sharing time
- Experience the benefits!

Breathwork: it's simple, yet powerful!
Breathwork (sometimes also written breath work) consists of thousands of ancient and modern breathing techniques that all have the same goal of positively affecting our well-being and accessing deeper states of the mind, body, and spirit for healing and growth using our breath. At its core, breathwork is a self-care tool with many benefits.
The style of breathwork you'll be guided through uses a conscious-connected, circular 3-part breathing pattern that will leave you feeling more at peace, lighter, confident, motivated, energized, and grounded. There are many similar, but different styles of this particular type of breathwork.

By actively participating in this wellness practice, you are contributing to a collective sense of harmony and improvement in the world. As author Mark Nepo put it: "When we heal ourselves, we heal the world. For as the body is only as healthy as its individual cells, the world is only as healthy as its individual souls".

How to prepare:
- Dress comfortably
- Have a mostly empty stomach (no big meals/heavy food or drink at least 30 min prior to arrival- light snacks and drinks are okay)
- Arrive at least five minutes early to settle into the space.
- Use the restroom prior to the start of the event
- Ensure your cell phone is silenced
- **No experience is necessary. Must be 18+. If you are/think you may be pregnant or have a severe/serious, uncontrolled physical or mental health condition, this practice is strongly not recommended.**
What to bring:
- Water
- A blanket to cover yourself in case you get cold during breathwork/for comfort. You are welcome to bring a pillow for comfort as well. You may bring your own yoga mat, but we will have yoga mats for you to use as well. (optional)
- Journal and pen to jot down any thoughts as needed (optional)
- An open mind and a willingness to try something new
Where to park + How to access Inner Peace Wellness Co.
- Ample free parking is available in the property's gravel lot located to the left of Inner Peace Wellness Co.'s front door. Please park in the gravel lot only!
- Free street parking is available throughout the area (metered parking is free after 6 pm)
- Paid lots are also around the area, but you should not need to pay for parking due to the availability of ample free parking.

Meet The Breath Nurse 👋🏻
The Breath Nurse, Rachele Scevola, is a Registered Nurse and international Certified Master Breathwork Facilitator/Coach with additional certifications in life coaching and energy medicine.
Her passion and mission lie in empowering others to return to their true nature through the healing, growth, transformation, and life activation that occurs through the medicine of our breath.
With over a decade of bedside nursing experience in critical care, Rachele's journey through serious chronic health issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and extreme burnout led her out of her hospital nursing career and into the healing art of breathwork.
She credits breathwork as being the most influential, life-changing wellness practice in her life and has adopted the belief that our lives and breath are medicine based on her lived experience.
Now, with close to seven years of breathwork experience, Rachele guides others to rediscover themselves and live a more joyful, happy, and healthy life through this incredible and often mind-blowing tool.
She lives by the truth of meaningful, simplified, and intentional living; embodied leadership (walking the talk); and connection through empathy, compassion, and honesty.
Rachele currently resides in the mountains local to Asheville, NC.
