Inner families gathering(Self-hypnosis & Mapping of various parts of one’s personality)
Weekend of inner encounters, supported by personal and collective trances, in an intimate and caring bubble. Hypnosis is a tool for meeting oneself, parts of oneself, which rarely have the opportunity to be heard and seen. Almost everyone has said one day: “Part of me would want this, but another part would want that.” Parts mapping is an introspective exercise, included in the larger approach called “parts work”. It's about putting on the table the main aspects that inhabit us and "act" through us, discovering their ways of functioning, individually and as a system.
Learn to enter and navigate different altered states of consciousness (trance states). We experience trance states of varying degrees every day, in a very natural way, absorbed in a book, a movie, music, physical activity, etc. It is possible to use these states deliberately, to amplify them, creating all sorts of paths facilitating access to the subconscious.
Self-hypnosis pairs well with parts work, making it easier to access and interact with them. You will leave with an overview of your “inner family” - various parts of your personality - and some tools to get to know them.

Saturday ~ Parts Mapping ~
Presentation of the concept of multiplicity and the main categories of parts, inspired by the IFS model (Internal Family Systems). Parts mapping exercises (inner family) in pairs and deeper analysis with the whole group. This work is supported by moments of trance which maintain the desired state of openness.
Sunday ~ Self-hypnosis ~
Presentation of basic notions on hypnosis; the unconscious, trance states, induction techniques, suggestions, hypnotic phenomena, etc. We will alternate between theoretical segments and practical exercises where participants will learn to use self-hypnosis to, among other things, meet and communicate with their parts.

“Internal Family Systems”, created by Richard Schwartz, is a model which allows one to develop a relationship with the various parts of their psyche, to alleviate their burdens and eventually harmonize their system. For more information on IFS, I recommend Tori Olds, who does an excellent job of explaining the model.

Julie Rocque is a hypnotherapist based in Montreal. Trained first in theater, and then in cinema, she has long had a fascination with the stories we tell ourselves and, above all, the power they have over us. Ericksonian hypnosis makes very skillful use of it, to bring people on a journey through their personal legend, and help it evolve. IFS and Clean Language are the two models that inform her hypnosis practice.
She likes the integrative approach. The idea is not to reject those aspects of ourselves that “cause problems”, but rather to enter into a relationship with them, and to include them in the process. This, while respecting the pace and ecology of the person, who remains active; creator of their hypnotic experience.
