The Inner Mujer Inner Child Picnic is an intentional, community-centered gathering created to offer women a space to connect, slow down, and simply be present with one another in a relaxed outdoor setting. This is not a workshop or structured event, but a gentle space where connection, play, and presence are the focus.

This gathering will be held at O’Donnell Park in Aurora, creating an open, grounding environment to reconnect with yourself and others in nature.

Hosted by Reyna and Anairis, founders of The Inner Mujer Project, this picnic is centered around reconnecting with your inner child through simple, nostalgic activities like coloring, sharing space, and allowing yourself to exist without pressure or expectation. There is no rigid schedule, just time to be, to talk, to laugh, and to build community in an intentional way.

What to expect:
A relaxed outdoor space where you can sit, unwind, color, snack, and connect with other women. This is about returning to softness, allowing yourself to enjoy the moment, and engaging in something that many of us don’t always give ourselves permission to do.

What we will provide:
Pizza, light beverages, coloring pages, and coloring materials will all be provided.

What to bring:
• A blanket
• A pillow or something comfortable to sit on
• Anything that makes you feel cozy
• A light jacket, just in case it gets chilly

Please note: As this is an outdoor event, in the case that weather conditions do not permit, the event will be postponed to a later date. All attendees will be notified with updated details.

This space is designed for women who are open-minded and curious about personal development, holistic living, spirituality, and embodied healing. Our spaces honor intuition, reflection, and non-traditional approaches to healing, while remaining grounded, respectful, and non-judgmental. This gathering may not resonate with everyone and that is intentional.

The Inner Mujer Project is rooted in the belief that healing does not always need to be clinical, isolating, or rigid, and that community itself can be a powerful form of care. Reyna and Anairis are both licensed therapists, and while their professional backgrounds inform how space is held, this gathering is not a therapy group or clinical session, but a community-based space for connection, reflection, and shared humanity.

This is a non-judgmental space. Any disrespectful behavior or bullying will result in being kindly asked to leave.

Please note: This is an intentional, small gathering with limited tickets available. Attendance is first come, first served, and tickets will be checked upon arrival. As this is an outdoor public space, we ask that only those who have purchased tickets join the gathering.
