Please join us Saturday, February 8th from 11am-1pm in the Arrington Auditorium for an Heirloom Society Valentine's Day Program!
Ink Your Own Valentine's Day Cards!
For a brief introduction to relief printmaking, participants will use pre-carved linocut blocks provided by The Little Red Print Shop, learning how to use ink to create their own relief prints.
All materials and tools will be provided. Participants will leave with two Valentine's Day cards. All experience levels are welcome.
The Little Red Print Shop is run by artist Jessica Leitch, who specializes in linocut printmaking and features a lot of original work inside a tiny print vending machine popping up around Birmingham! Follow along at @thelittleredprintshop .
BYO Vase Bouquet Bar!
We will have a selection of flowers to mix and match, so that everyone leaves with a bouquet. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own vase, but there will be various vessels to use if not.
Admission is free, but registration is required at cobpl.org under the calendar tab.
Registration opens Monday, January 20th.
