About this Event

Ready to cross pollinate print with ceramics? Mud Lab is pleased to offer a deep dive into teaching you how to combine printmaking techniques such as lithography, blockprinting, and monoprint with ceramics. In our “Inktober” series, we will explore techniques for adding print and mark making to clay.

In this session, we will explore how to transfer imagery onto clay, using toner copies and special inks formulated for clays. We will discuss how to create these inks and prepare your clay for print. You will create a series of clay tiles which will be fired in the kiln. We will wrap up the session by a playful session in creating painterly monoprints using a variety of different tools & underglazes.

Your work will be fired in the kiln and ready for pickup in a week!
