INK & MUD: Printmaking with Clay: Blockprinting

Ready to cross-pollinate printmaking with clay? Come join us for a special session by carving your linoleum and impressing it into clay!
About this Event

. In our “Inktober” series, we will explore techniques for incorporating print into ceramics. For our blockprinting class, we will create our designs and carve them into a linoleum block. Once we have created our carve, we will create a round of prints on paper. We will wrap up the session by learning how to impress these into clay tiles. The clay tiles created will be fired in the kiln and ready for pickup the following week!

CROSS POLLINATION BONUS! We will also discuss how to create molds from our linoleum blocks and cast those into glass!
