Ink and Wash Resist Turkey Painting | Cheryl Bielli, instructor

This loose ink sketch is a charming holiday activity for artists of any age. This sample was actually done by a three-year-old boy! Participants sketch basic shapes with pencil, then firm up with ink pens, apply an oil resist to the white markings on the turkey’s feathers, and apply washes in an earth-tone palette. The white markings resist the watercolor and reappear like magic!
