Injury Wise Clinics
Torn muscles, sprained ankles and shin splints. These are just some of the injuries that plague athletes. And when you're injured, you have questions and you want answers. Come to Gazelle Sports and spend ten minutes one-on-one with a sports medicine professional to discuss your specific injury concerns. There is no appointment necessary for a free session. Appointments are taken on a first come, first serve basis and may be limited by time.
Stephen Leppard, P.T., OMPT, CSCS, Center Manager
Steve is a physical therapist with experience in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, spinal care, post-surgical care and movement analysis. Steve earned a degree in physical therapy in 2000 from Grand Valley State University. In 2005, he earned a residency certificate in orthopedic manual physical therapy from Oakland University. Steve is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2017, he was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Preceptor Award for providing the best clinical education at the MIPERC Conference. In 2019, he was recognized for patient advocacy in the State of Michigan. In 2019, he pushed a patient in a racing wheelchair in the Grand Rapids full marathon and they qualified for the Boston Marathon as a Duo Team.
