Injury Wise Clinics
Torn muscles, sprained ankles and shin splints. These are just some of the injuries that plague athletes. And when you're injured, you have questions and you want answers. Come to Gazelle Sports in Kalamazoo and spend ten minutes one-on-one with a sports medicine professional to discuss your specific injury concerns. There is no appointment necessary for a free session. Appointments are taken on a first come, first serve basis and may be limited by time.
Ian Heinicke, DPT, CSCS
Ian is from the Kalamazoo area and graduated from Mattawan High School. He obtained both his bachelors degree in clinical exercise science and his doctorate of physical therapy from Grand Valley State University. Ian enjoys promoting health in his community. In addition to being a certified physical therapist, he is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has a passion for optimizing movement in people of all ages, skill levels, and exercise backgrounds. In his spare time, Ian enjoys participating in a variety of sports ranging from endurance events such as marathons and triathlons to tennis and pickle ball. Ian also enjoys spending time with his wife Anne and their cat Lucy.
