About this Event
The InHerPeace™ Healing Day Retreat is a community-centered healing experience created to support maternal mental wellbeing during pregnancy and postpartum.
At The Transformational Healing Place, we believe maternal wellbeing is not something a mother should have to carry alone. Mothers thrive when they are surrounded by care, understanding, and a strong village.
Held during Black Maternal Health Week, this retreat invites pregnant individuals, postpartum mothers (up to 18 months), and their support people to step into a restorative space centered on healing, reflection, and connection.
Throughout the day, participants will engage in conversations about maternal wellbeing, experience healing-centered practices, and explore how communities can strengthen support for mothers and families.
Support people are strongly encouraged to attend. When families understand how to support mothers emotionally and practically, maternal wellbeing improves for everyone.
For participants who attend without a support person, trained Village Keepers will be present throughout the day to provide care, encouragement, and connection.
