Inheritance and Healing: Conversations on Systems and Survival

Inheritance and Healing is a powerful, community-centered panel event bringing together lived experience, professional insight, and collective care to explore how systems shape survival—and what children inherit from them.

Designed for social work professionals, caregivers, advocates, and community members, this gathering creates space for honest dialogue about family separation, parenting under surveillance, healing justice, and navigating complex systems with dignity and resilience.

Through two thoughtfully curated panels, participants will hear directly from parents, practitioners, and leaders whose work and lived experience illuminate both the harm and the hope within our systems. This is not just a conversation—it’s a call to reflect, connect, and imagine more humane paths forward for families.
