Inhale the Facts: Protecting Health from Tobacco and Vaping Risks for Youth

The KCHD and the ETCCY are excited to present “Inhale the Facts: Protecting Health from Tobacco and Vaping Risks for Youth.” The conference provides an opportunity for attendees to take a deep dive into how tobacco and vaping are affecting youth. You can expect to hear from local and state experts on a variety of topics. Attendees will learn about the data surrounding youth tobacco and vaping in Tennessee, the relationship between trauma and social determinants of health in relation to youth and hear from a motivational speaker regarding youth substance use and what we can do to combat it. The conference also offers an interactive approach for parents, educators, and anyone who works with youth on how to identify hidden signs of tobacco and vaping use with the National Guard’s Stashed Away trailer, that mimics a typical teenage bedroom.
