As the crowds track towards Scone for the exciting Scone Racing Carnival, the fun moves to the Scone RSL for the Official Calcutta. Calcutta tickets are sold for $5 per ticket, or in books of $25 or $50. They will be available for sale from 5pm at the Scone RSL Club. Tickets will be drawn one at a time, one ticket per horse listed in the Scone Cup Field, until all the horses have been allocated. To build the excitement, a phantom call of the Race will be delivered, followed by the auction of the horses. Patrons lucky enough to draw a horse can decide whether to retain the horse or sell it at auction.
COST: Entry to the RSL is free
TICKETS: Available between 5pm and 7pm.
