Information session for 107 Redfern St short-term empty properties grant

Council has committed to prioritise local Aboriginal creative and cultural use of 107 Redfern Street.

Creative and cultural leaders, artists, knowledge holders and creative practitioners are eligible to apply for a short-term empty property licence at 107 Redfern Street, Redfern.

Visit 107 Redfern Street to walk through the spaces on offer and hear about how to apply for a space.

What to expect

Join us for a guided walkthrough of the building, where you can explore the spaces, shared facilities and access arrangements.

We’ll talk through the opportunity, including available spaces, permitted uses, licence terms and key dates. You can also ask questions about how to apply through the SmartyGrants portal.

We strongly encourage Aboriginal-led and community-controlled organisations, as well as Aboriginal cultural leaders, artists, knowledge holders and creative practitioners to apply. This also includes initiatives focused on language revitalisation, cultural teaching, ceremony, healing and wellbeing.
