Info session at the Katonah Village Library for the HFA-BCMF Forever Fund
About this Event
After graduating from John Jay High School in 2025, I chose to spend a gap year volunteering with HFA-BCMF on the Thai-Burma border. HFA-BCMF is an organization providing access to life-saving medical care to patients who are denied treatment due to financial, legal, or geographical barriers.
During the past year, I saw children living in one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, exacerbated by a civil war that began in 2021. After watching people die from conditions that are entirely treatable, I knew I couldn't simply come home and leave HFA-BCMF behind, so I founded the HFA-BCMF Forever Fund Foundation with the goal of building a permanent endowment fund for HFA-BCMF.
The HFA-BCMF Forever Fund Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning all donations are tax-deductible. Join us on June 24th from 6:30–7:30 pm at the Katonah Village Library for a presentation, a short film shot in Thailand, and a Q&A session.
