Join us for an Infant Mental Health presentation and listen to a reading of “The Rabbit Listened” by Cori Doerrfeld. Using this poignant children’s book, we will explore and discuss the gentle power of “being with”, and the relational and neurodevelopmental benefits of connection during times of distress. We will also apply and reflect on the sequence of “Regulate, Relate, Reason” when engaged in co-regulation, and what happens when we jump into fixing or redirecting before connecting.
Presented and led by Dylan Drusedum. Dylan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Board-Certified Art Therapist, and Endorsed Infant Mental Health Professional. She owns and practices out of Seed to Tree Counseling and provides IECMH consultation through the SEED Initiative. Dylan is a mother, an artist, and an avid lover of the outdoors.
Free!
Registration required, and free childcare will also be available.
