Infant Massage (Family Center Huron Heights)
About this Event
Join us with your non-crawling baby (2+ months recommended), and learn techniques of special touch that build a connection between you and your baby.
Infant massage is a wonderful way to connect with your baby while promoting overall health. Facilitated by a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, this informative and ‘hands'-on’ workshop will teach you:
- easy to learn massage techniques that convey your love and that give your baby a sense of peace and security in the world
- specific massage techniques to promote sleep, soothe your baby when fussy, and help with constipation
Babies tend to love this class from around 2 months of age until they start to crawl.
Wednesdays, October 7 to October 28 from 1:30 pm to 2:30pm
Infant Massage is a 4-week program. Due to high attendance rate and limited spaces, we ask that only families who are committed to attending the full 4 week program register. If your baby happens to be napping during the time of one of our classes, we will have a doll to practice on during the session.
