What to Wear: Clothes you can comfortably dance in (think workout attire). NO jeans, NO skirts.

What to Expect: Learn a footwork & partnerwork combination

We will place dancers on teams based on skill and fit

Season Duration: February – End of July. We’re excited to welcome new members to our dance teams for the 2025 season! To join, please register for one open enrollment date listed below.

About the Teams:

• Train in Salsa, Bachata, Reggaeton (Shines & Partnerwork)
• Weekly or bi-weekly in-person practices (varies by team)
• No partner required
• Optional performance opportunities (local & out-of-town)
• Commitment: 3–6 months (minimum 3 months)
• Monthly membership dues apply

• To join Bachata, attend a Bachata Open Enrollment
• To join Salsa, attend a Salsa Open Enrollment
• To join Reggaeton, attend a Reggaeton Open Enrollment
• To join the Competition Team, you must attend its audition

Followers-only bachata team open to all levels. No experience required Based in Sacramento.

Inessence Salsa Muses
All-levels follower shines salsa team welcoming dancers of any experience level.

Inessence Rumberos
All-levels coed salsa partnerwork team open to dancers of any experience level.

Inessence Evolution
Intermediate coed partnerwork team for dancers with prior dance experience.

Inessence Golden Muses
Intermediate to advanced follower shines team focused on performance quality. Not for beginners.

Inessence Competition Team
Coed bachata partnerwork competition team for dancers with 2+ years of performance experience.

Inessence Show Team
Our most advanced coed partnerwork team, designed for dancers with 2+ years of performance experience and high-level performance training.
