Indianapolis is home to exceptional independent makers, grassroots projects, and community-minded residents—they just don't always share the same room.
Indy Gather & Give is a relaxed Sunday evening social at Provider Café (Tinker House) designed to bring those circles together. Connect with neighbors, browse a curated selection of local makers, and participate in an optional direct-giving moment supporting Central Indiana food security.

No keynote speeches. No sales pitches. No raffle tickets or auction paddles.

What to Expect:

Curated Maker Showcase: Explore tables and learn the stories behind 6–8 independent local makers, artists, and neighborhood initiatives.

The Indy Connection Passport: A physical pocket guide with low-pressure conversation prompts ("Meet 3, Discover 2, Give 1") to make exploring the room effortless - especially for solo attendees.

Local Spotlight Minutes: Concise, 90-second introductions from featured local creators highlighting what they are building in Indianapolis.

Hosted Light Bites: A selection of savory appetizers and grazing items included with your ticket throughout the evening.

Direct Community Giving Moment: An optional, transparent opportunity to support Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana directly via their official donation QR code.

EVENING TIMELINE

• 5:15 PM – 5:30 PM | Doors Open & Check-In
  Pick up your name badge, collect your Indy Connection Passport, order drinks at the Provider bar, and settle in.
  
• 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM | Arrival Social & Light Bites
  Enjoy complimentary appetizers, browse early maker displays, and begin casual opening conversations.
  
• 6:00 PM – 6:10 PM | Welcome & Format Briefing
  A brief framing from the hosts on the evening's flow, community ground rules, and how to use your Connection Passport.
  
• 6:10 PM – 6:25 PM | Local Spotlight Minutes
  Six participating makers and initiatives share a quick 90-second snapshot of their work and where to find them in the room.
  
• 6:25 PM – 7:00 PM | Open Social & Maker Exploration
  Wander the room, meet new people at your own pace, and discover local creations.
  
• 7:00 PM – 7:10 PM | Community Giving Moment
  A short presentation on seasonal food-security needs in Central Indiana, followed by direct, voluntary QR-code giving to Gleaners Food Bank.
  
• 7:10 PM – 7:45 PM | Connection Window
  Continue deeper conversations, revisit maker tables, and complete remaining passport prompts.
  
• 7:45 PM – 8:00 PM | Contact Exchange & Adjournment
  Exchange contact info, finalize direct maker purchases, and wrap up by 8:00 PM.
  

VENUE, PARKING & LOGISTICS

• Venue: Provider Café (1st Floor at Tinker House), 1101 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
  
• Food & Drinks: Light appetizers are provided with all paid tickets. Specialty coffees, craft beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options are available for individual purchase directly from the Provider bar.
  
• Parking: Free surface parking is available in the dedicated Tinker House lot, with additional free street parking along 16th Street and surrounding neighborhood avenues. Rideshare drop-off is directly at the main entrance.
  
• Charitable Transparency: Gather & Give Collective does not collect cash donations or handle pooled charity funds. Guests donate directly to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana via verified nonprofit QR codes.
