Join us for the 2026 Industry Trends, a dynamic morning of Business insights and analysis presented in partnership with Lakeshore Advantage. Mandy Cooper will lead the conversation, offering a deep dive into the trends shaping our regional business landscape, from workforce and innovation to industry shifts and economic outlooks.
As Interim President, Mandy leads Lakeshore Advantage’s efforts to help primary employers and communities with strategic growth. She brings together the organization’s business retention and attraction, strategic initiatives, and community development work, collaborating with employers, local and state partners, and civic and community organizations to advance projects and solutions that strengthen the Lakeshore region’s long-term economic competitiveness.
Mandy joined Lakeshore Advantage in 2018 and has led some of the organization’s most significant strategic initiatives, from business support during the COVID-19 pandemic to talent, workforce housing, and public-private infrastructure projects. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the issues shaping the region’s economic future and a strong ability to bring partners together around practical solutions. Prior to joining Lakeshore Advantage, Mandy spent 20 years working alongside West Michigan businesses and nonprofit organizations, giving her longstanding relationships and firsthand knowledge of the region she now helps lead.
Mandy has participated on numerous boards including the Tulip Time Board of Directors where she served as chair and the City of Zeeland Planning Commission. Mandy’s favorite past-time is spending weekends with her husband, two daughters, and her two Spanish Water Dogs at their rustic cabin up north.
This event is modeled after our popular Economic Forecast Breakfast, with a similar format and feel, including a delicious breakfast and plenty of time to connect with fellow professionals.
