Practice and play indoor football, using the FIFA official 5-a-side format of the game - 'Futsal'.
Created in Uruguay, played in South America, Europe and popular in Asia, Futsal helps develop a player's control, skill, close footwork and uses a ball with a 30% reduced bounce. Combined with the fast nature of the small sided game, players have more touches on the ball than in a normal 7/9/11 a-side football.
This is an opportunity for boys and girls in school years 5, 6 & 7 to practice in a fun, no pressure environment, within a small group.
Suitable for new players, recreational players, players who wish to gain confidence, those looking for an alternative version of football played indoors, or just simply football lovers ❤️ ⚽.
Practices and activities will involve individual ball time, helping to perfect control and dribbling skills, with plenty of chances to shoot at goal.
We'll work in pairs, playing 1v1s and 2v2s building confidence on the ball, developing responsibility and team work. To add realistic game play we'll work on attack and defend scenarios to include 3v2s and playing out from the back. Practices will be fun and we'll work together with some group activities.
Hosted by coach James - FA level 2 and Futsal level 1, in-date DBS check, insured, first aid and safe guarding certified.
We are not a club or 'academy'. We are a platform for youth players to have fun, be active, learn by experience & enjoy the game. Open to everyone no matter what your skills are ❤️⚽🥅.
