Welcome to the Indigenous Poets Open Mic at Grove Cafe featuring Kelly Welch! Join us from 6:30pm-8:30pm November 12, 2034 for a night of powerful Indigenous testimonial storytelling and conversation circle as healing.
We will enjoy a circle sharing format, with open mic for attendees to share their poetry and stories at the mic or in circle if time allows.
This in-person event will showcase Kelly who is an inspiring talented storyteller sharing her life experiences. Come support the local Indigenous community and enjoy an evening of conecting stories and inspiration.

Kelly Welch is a member of Flying Post First Nation and has mixed ancestry. She was born in Kitchener, ON and continues to reside in Waterloo Region.
In 2016 Kelly was connected to her Anishinaabe culture in looking for help with trauma and addictions and found her way to a healing path through ceremony including fasting, sweatlodge and as a Sundancer.
Kelly has found connection and healing through the hand drum and songs and enjoys facilitating ways for others to do the same.
