Join us for lunch after chapel to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Month with keynote speaker Dayna Barrios, Native community leader and former chairwoman for the
Barbareño/Ventureño Band of Mission Indians. Barrios will share stories about her Chumash ancestors and how faith has been present in their traditions and culture.
This is a great opportunity to learn about California Native history and heritage, as we continue to build a beloved community under the theme of Healing and Restoration. This event will present information to spark curiosity and invite reflection on how faith inspires communities and individuals throughout history.
