About this Event

Indigenous NOW invites community, relatives, and allies to gather in Oregon's State Capitol of Salem for our annual Indigenous Peoples Day event. Everyday we honor our Elders and Veterans, for this event we intend to share food and fellowship, and celebrate the living books, traditional medicine, ceremonies, and values that connect us across generations.

Led by Hannah Shooting Bear, Executive Founder of Indigenous NOW, this gathering is rooted in reciprocity, cultural revitalization, and community care. All are welcome. We ask that guests come with respect for the Elders, protocols, and traditions being honored.

Next year marks our 10th year, and we are grateful to everyone who has helped carry this gathering forward.
