Join us for what's sure to be a fun day spotlighting the extraordinary work being done by some of our favorite independent publishers.
Editors/publishers from LittlePuss Press, Rescue Press, Sarabande Books, and Henar Press will be on hand to discuss their work and publications, as well as participate in a panel discussion about the state of independent publishing.
LittlePuss Press is a feminist press run by trans women. We believe in printing on paper, intensive editing, and throwing lots of parties.
Rescue Press is an editor-run press based in Cleveland, Ohio, who value experimentation, conversation, care, and idiosyncrasy. They are interested in high-contrast writing that pushes the boundaries of genre.
Sarabande Books is an award-winning independent publisher headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. Home to more than three-hundred works of poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction, and literature in translation, we have earned a dedicated readership and a national reputation as a publisher of diverse forms and innovative voices.
Henar Press is an independent, nonprofit press based in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to bringing experimental Kurdish writing to the world. Their books span fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction from emerging and established writers from the homeland and diaspora.
