2023 Morning Writing Circle

You don't need to consider yourself a writer to be here--in fact, many members started out believing they weren't. If you commit to showing up, and writing from what you know, or what you wonder, you'll be amazed at what comes up and out.

We write on three prompts, 10 minutes each. You can bend all the rules you'd imagine there'd be, except you must keep writing. Don't edit yourself. Just go. In whatever direction you need.

Once we've written, we volunteer to share. This is where it gets interesting. Where we see how our lives are interwoven, or starkly different. And we hold it all. Tears are honored. Anger is dignified. Joy is celebrated.

This is an intimate space for bold (that doesn't mean "fearless") humans looking for community through a creative outlet.

Important details

We meet on select Sundays & Wednesdays, both 9:30-11:30 am. Keep in mind, there is a firm 9:45 start time to honor everyone's commitments after.
