On Saturday, September 13th at 7 PM, in collaboration with Friends of Garfield Park, our 51st Artistic Season kicks off with our 8th annual FREE Opera in the Park concert at MacAllister Amphitheater in Garfield Park.
Hosted by opera superstar soprano Angela Brown and Maestro Alfred Savia, the concert features an incredible line-up of special musical guests, including baritone Rafael Porto & soprano Cara Collins, performing alongside the Indianapolis Opera Resident Artists and Indianapolis Opera Chorus, as well as the Indianapolis Youth Orchestra.
Experience captivating performances & topnotch vocal artistry while enjoying the spacious park, where food trucks, beer, & wine are available for picnicking with friends & family!
Gates open at 6 PM.
There is not cost to attend, but audience donations are greatly appreciated & necessary to make events like Opera in the Park possible.
