Something special is making its way across Indiana, and Seymour is its next stop!
This September, we are proud to host the Indiana State Parks Platter Project, a traveling exhibition created in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The collection features hand-painted porcelain platters representing all 25 Indiana State Parks, created by eight Indiana artists. Each artist brought their own style and interpretation to the parks they painted, creating 25 individual works that come together to tell one very Hoosier story.
The project has been traveling across the state throughout 2026 — from libraries and museums to the Indiana State Fair — and will eventually be presented to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources as a lasting gift to the state.
Join us Friday, September 4 from 5:30–9 PM for the opening reception, happening alongside one of our favorite nights at SICA:
🎶Friday Night Live featuring Honey White
🍕 Patriot Pizza food truck
🧶Stitch Happens by Maddy
💎Raven’s Jewelry Nest
Come wander the gallery. Find a park you recognize. Grab some pizza. Listen to live music. Meet local artists. Make a night of it!!
