A well-known theme of the original Indiana Jones trilogy is Indy's movement from a reason-only perspective seen especially in the first film of the trilogy that transitions to a faith-inclusive viewpoint by the end of the third film ("Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"). Join us for dinner and the showing of the final film in the original trilogy followed by a post-viewing discussion for a few minutes. Consider watching "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" before coming to movie night.
The following Sunday on October 26, Pastor Scott dresses like Indiana Jones and preaches on how faith and reason can coexist in our modern times. Who knows, a boulder may even roll down the aisle that morning!
