Indiana County NAACP 37th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet

The Annual Freedom Fund Banquet is the major fundraising activity of Indiana County NAACP. Besides funds that assist in obtaining needed resources to continue our work and programming throughout the year (e.g., activities that range from scholarships for graduating high school students, community /cultural awareness, civic engagement, educational and youth development events to awards, community service, social justice, and civil rights activities), the event is typically well-received and inspiring. Themed All IN! Inspiring Freedom, Justice, and Youth Development, this year's banquet will feature a VIP reception with guest speaker Dr. Alaina E. Roberts, an award winning historian of Black and Native American, University of Pittsburgh assistant professor, and author of the acclaimed book "I've Been Here All the While." Delicious cusine, enjoyable DJ music, community service awards, door prizes, raffles, opportunities for community engagement, a cash bar, and more are among the festivities. A film-showing will also be available. The event will be held at Indiana PA County Country Club.
