Save the date: 🌲⛰️Free Community Hike to the Indian Pools Trail near China Peak resort on Saturday August 30th.
This one is a beginner friendly hike along the river with scenic & picturesque views of the alpine scenery. This trail is unique as it leads to several swimming holes and if the water is flowing, small waterfalls as well. The route is 4.6 miles and 700 feet of elevation.
Meet at the Starbucks on Friant & Fort Washington at 5am if you’d like to carpool/caravan. The trip is 90 minutes & the plan is to start about 7:30am. We can park in the free lots at China Peak and walk to the trailhead. Hike up, eat (and or swim) then hike back. Bring water & snacks!
