Independents Say Cary
About this Event
More information can be found on our website. In dark times, we gather to have a community discussion. The anniversary of the Declaration of Independence felt less like a celebration and more like a reminder of the responsibilities we carry. Now that July 4th has passed, we must ask what comes next for North Carolina by addressing the challenges facing our state, becoming familiar with civic nonprofits, and hearing from the third‑party candidates who will appear on our Midterm ballot. Millions of voters are stepping away from the two major parties, and this event explores what that shift means for our community. Attendees will hear from and have the opportunity to speak with three candidates running for offices at multiple levels of the Midterm ballot. The meeting will be in the Eagle Room.
