INDEPENDENT STUDY MAT

A MAT rebate of $150 is available once the class is successfully completed.

An online MAT course is available for those of you who prefer to study independently. The online portion of the course will provide the best practices for giving medications to children. Once you’ve completed the course online, you can schedule a testing time with one of our Child Care Health Consultants. The online class is available at: ecetp.pdp.albany.edu.

As with the on-site training, after completing the online course and passing the tests at your appointment, you’ll be certified to provide medications to children, meeting the requirements of NYSOCFS. The certification lasts for three years.

Credit card payment will be required at checkout.

In addition to completing this online registration, participants will need to apply for this training through the website. This step is necessary and is the only way to receive your certificate at the completion of this training.

If you need to cancel, please call 518-426-7181 at least 1 week prior to your training. If you do not call to cancel, and you do not attend; you will need to pay the registration fee again if you wish to register for a future date.
