This Spring, All Saints’ finally paid off the mortgage on our Parish Center. We made the final payment to PNC Bank for the $3.6 million construction loan taken 2001-2003. To pay for the building, we held a Capital Campaign in 1999 which raised $1.7 million and we borrowed $2.1 million from PNC and the diocesan Middendorf fund. Additional Capital Campaigns in 2004 and 2011 reduced the debt, along with generous parishioners who contributed to the Building Fund beyond campaign pledges.
After 20 years we can now declare All Saints’ free of mortgage debt! Let’s gather in the Great Hall on July 7, 9-10 am, to celebrate being debt-free. We also want to celebrate the parishioners who served on the Construction Steering Committee, the three Capital Campaigns, our church leadership teams during these decades, and all the parishioners who contributed to the campaigns and Building Fund.
