Join us for Incorporation Day One on Thursday, April 17th as we celebrate a special moment in Herrin’s history!The day kicks off with Mayor Frattini reading a proclamation at City Hall at 12:00 PM, followed by a small reception with light refreshments.
Following the reception, we’ll host a tree planting ceremony in collaboration with our sister city, Cuggiono, Italy. The Heritage Club will set up a Zoom conference, and both cities will plant identical red oak trees as a symbolic gesture of our partnership. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will serve as the planting location.
The tree planting ceremony will wrap up the festivities for Day One, and we can’t wait to share this exciting day with you!
