Recovery doesn't happen in isolation. It grows through connection, community and belonging — and through the everyday assets, relationships and opportunities that exist right across our borough.
Join us as we launch Inclusive Recovery Cities in Redcar & Cleveland: a movement to build recovery capital, challenge stigma, increase recovery visibility, and open up pathways to participation across community life.
Whether you work in services, lead in your community, are part of a recovery journey, or simply want to be part of something positive happening locally — you're welcome here.

- Becoming an Inclusive Recovery City — what it means and why it matters for Redcar & Cleveland
- Where we are now — sharing what's happened so far, including baseline work on recovery capital, recovery visibility and stigma, with STAR Recovery
- Asset Based Community Development in action — how Recovery Connections has worked across the whole borough to build relationships and strengthen recovery capital
- Lunch — provided by Connections Community Cafe, a local social enterprise, with the Recovery Connections Free Hot Coffee Bike on hand for refreshments
- What next? — an open, community-led conversation about the future of Inclusive Recovery in Redcar & Cleveland
