Annual conference for those working with or supporting children and young people
About this Event

The 2026 Inclusive Education Conference arrives at a pivotal moment for schools, settings and services across England. The Government’s newly published Schools White Paper, Every Child Achieving and Thriving (February 2026), sets out an ambitious vision to shift children’s educational experiences from “narrow to broad” and to ensure that those previously sidelined are fully included in their school communities. Alongside this, sweeping SEND reforms propose a simpler, more consistent system with strengthened mainstream inclusion, major new investment, and the introduction of digital Individual Support Plans to ensure timely, needs‑led support for children and young people.

Against this landscape, the conference brings together educators, health professionals, policymakers, families, and the voluntary sector to explore what these reforms mean in practice. Through keynotes, workshops, and lived‑experience contributions, delegates will critically consider how we can co‑create a truly inclusive education system—one where every learner is supported to thrive, achieve and take part

There will be an audience including; Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), senior leaders, health professionals, policy makers, Local Authority representatives, social workers, parents and the voluntary sector.

Hosted by: Dr Sarah Martin-Denham
Conference co-hosts/partners:
Jonny Greener (Regional Director, Zen/AK teaching)
Emily Carr and Rachel Campbell (Directors, IncludED)
We hope you can join us.
