Inclusion by Design: The Future of Energy Research

We would like to invite you to attend the final event for the EDI+ Network Fellowship at the IET Savoy in London on the 16th of September. There is an option to join virtually for those who cannot attend in person.
Jointly delivered by the EDI+ Network, UKERC, IGNITE Network+ and the Supergen Energy Networks Hub, reflecting a shared commitment to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion across the UK energy research landscape.
Join us for an exciting day which will showcase the work of of EDI+ Fellows and drive a conversation about inclusion in energy research. There will be presentations from EDI+ Fellows on their interventions as well as guest speakers and a panel discussion. Confirmed guest speakers and panellists include:
- Patricia Thornley, Chief Scientific Advisor, Department of Transport
- Rachel Van Krimpen, Faculty Director of EDI and People (Science), University of Nottingham
- Simone Abram, Executive Director of Durham Energy Institute, Durham University
- Jim Flemming, Head of Energy Theme, EPSRC
- Mustafa Ozbilgin, Associate Dean Equity and Inclusion, Brunel University
- Helen Stockton, Head of Research, National Energy Action

There is no charge for attending the event. Lunch, tea & coffee will be provided to participants. All food will be vegetarian or vegan. Allergies should be made known to the organisers when you book your ticket.
