In alignment with NIDBA rules, ALL boats must pass inspection prior to competing in any Thunder on the Chain race.
Due to flooding and season opening delays for many local businesses, inspections will be hosted at The Mutiny on Grass Lake Road. Please arrive with caution; inspections may take place east of the pub building pending lot conditions.
Full-season drivers should make arrangements to attend this inspection date or make alternate, pre-scheduled plans with the inboard race committee. Race day inspections are discouraged and could lead to a delay in your participation. Inspections must be completed on land and will not be conducted at Blarney Island.
If joining mid season or if you have extenuating circumstances warranting an exception please contact the NIDBA directly to coordinate a mutually agreeable inspection date and location.
