The Ember Trail Project — Inaugural HikeJuly 4, 2026
This hike marks the first official Ember Trail Project event and the beginning of a community built around healing through movement, nature, and intentional connection.
This will be a small, intentional group hike, focused on presence—not pace, competition, or performance. We’ll be moving together with respect for individual limits, silence when needed, and space for reflection.
🌲 Purpose
The Ember Trail Project exists to create space for rebuilding after trauma, betrayal, burnout, and difficult life seasons through time in nature. This is not therapy—it’s movement, grounding, and shared experience.
🎗 Giving Back
This inaugural hike will also serve as a fundraising event benefiting veteran-focused organizations that support PTSD, CPTSD, and trauma recovery. More details on donations will be shared closer to the event.
📍 Location (To Be Determined)
The exact hike location has not yet been selected.
Group members are invited to:
Vote on the featured poll in the Facebook group

🧭 What to Expect

Clear trail difficulty and expectations once location is chosen
Respect for boundaries and individual pace
A commemorative Inaugural Hike souvenir for registered participants
This event is about honoring resilience, independence, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.
More details—including registration and logistics—will be shared as planning continues.
Resilience looks good on you!
