In-Town Lecture – Trail Cams 101 for Backyard Citizen Science

Please join us for our in-town, indoor lecture series!

Trails cameras (trail cams) are important tools for monitoring wildlife and capturing wildlife activity in natural environments. They enable the discreet observation and study of animals, which may include detecting wildlife presence and recording behaviours, without the disturbance caused by the presence of humans. Come learn about how the staff of CREW Trust and FWC use trail cams to monitor wildlife activity on CREW lands and how you too can use these devices in your own backyard to better understand the behaviors of different animal species in your neighborhoods.

Light refreshments start at 6:30 pm, Lecture will be from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
