In This Together: The Film Project Premiere & Awards Evening

Join In This Together Bucks CIC for the premiere of a powerful youth-led film created by young people from Aylesbury.
This unique project gave young people the opportunity to submit film ideas, create characters, audition for roles, and work alongside professional filmmakers and industry professionals to bring their vision to life. The result is an educational short film exploring issues affecting young people today, including criminal exploitation, grooming, knife crime, peer pressure, mental health, and the consequences of involvement in criminal activity.
Majority of the young people involved in the project have previously received mentoring and support through In This Together Bucks CIC and have used their experiences, creativity, and ideas to help shape this production.
Supported by Thames Valley Police, professional filmmakers from Bell Media, and actor Jayden Revri, the project demonstrates the positive outcomes that can be achieved when young people are given opportunities, guidance, and a platform to be heard.
Following the film screening, attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the young people involved through a special awards ceremony recognising their hard work, commitment, and contribution to the project.
This event will bring together young people, families, schools, community organisations, police, local authority representatives, funders, and community leaders to celebrate creativity, resilience, and positive change within Buckinghamshire.
