Join us for an evening with local author and storyteller Victor Amoroso, facilitator of the West Des Moines Writers’ Group and newly published author of Journeys: My Year in Short Stories. Amoroso grew up in Iowa City and has lived in the Des Moines greater Metro area since 2009. Tonight, he will share insights into his writing process, the inspiration behind his year-long short story project, and what he’s learned from leading a vibrant community of writers.
The program will include a reading from his new collection, a conversation about creativity and craft, and time for audience questions. Whether you're an aspiring writer, a fan of short fiction, or simply curious about the creative journey, this event offers a warm and engaging look into the art of storytelling.
