in the blink of an eye: The Art of Never Growing Up

This exhibition explores memory, resilience, humor, and the wonder we carry with us through paintings, papier-mâché, and mixed media. Bright colors, playful imagery, handwritten words, and familiar objects reflect the experiences of Generation X and the child that still lives within us.
While creating this work, I faced a total knee replacement and a traumatic brain injury. Art is my way of moving forward. Each piece is a reminder that even during life's hardest seasons, creativity can keep us connected to hope.
Growing older is inevitable. Growing up is optional.
This is a portrait of my generation.
