Are you interested in learning how to Belly Dance? Here's your opportunity to learn a new dance practice this Spring!Join Anna Nummelin, Dance Instructor from Wausau Belly Dance for very special Spring In-Studio Beginner Belly Dance 7-Week Series. Anyone interested in learning to Belly Dance or returning Belly Dancers are welcome to join!
*Beginner 6-7 PM: This easy beginner course is the perfect introduction to belly dance and is geared toward women who are new to dancing. The class will emphasize gentle and fun belly dance movements including body isolations of the shoulders, chest, arms, and hips. It is a great opportunity for advanced dancers to review and fine-tune core technique. All are welcome - no experience needed!
*Intermediate & Advanced 7:15-8:15 PM: This intermediate course will build upon movements and concepts from the beginner class, including drills to build strength and stamina, posture, and technique. This class is geared toward choreography and performance. Special permission is needed to register for this course. Prior dance experience is required.
Enrollment Requirements:
*Beginner - Public Open Enrollment! No Prior Belly Dance Experience Necessary - All Levels Welcome.
*Intermediate & Advanced: Prior Belly Dance Experience Required - Closed Private Enrollment! Recommend taking the beginner class a minimum of 3 times prior to entering the intermediate/advanced class.
